The Letter to the Hebrews
Written to first-century Jews who had become followers of Christ and who were being tempted to return to Judaism, this letter presents the case for the superiority of the way of Christ. The blessings of his priesthood, sacrifice, and covenant are worth any sacrifice that must be endured. The letter is a call to persevere in the faith and appreciate the unique salvation found only in Christ.
